Children's Yoga Calendar
Hunachaco, Peru

I was part of spearheading a project with FairMail Cards to work with low-income teens in a small seaside village in Peru. I held indoor and outdoor lessons on HDR (high-dynamic range) Photography. We printed the calendars and distributed them worldwide. I single-handedly raised hundreds of dollars for each teen to cover their tuition, uniform, and books for the following year.

Sex Trafficked Survivor Stories

It was difficult to hear first hand how these women were tricked and psychologically manipulated into forced slavery. I only hope I did their stories any justice. If you are somehow moved, consider making a difference: https://www.nightlightinternational.com/get-involved/

Due to the poor conditions of the bumpy dirt road, the 4x4 drive took four excruciating hours to Bukit Lawang, the gateway to Gunung Leuser National Park, known for the largest animal sanctuary of Sumatran orangutans. It was pitch black by the time I'd arrived. All I could hear was the rushing river that my place was situated along. I was given only one friendly tip and that was to leave all food items inside the tin container to keep the monkeys out. I was clearly in the jungle, finally! Read the full story HERE.
